ROMPIN: An Astro television installer was killed and his colleague injured when the pickup truck they were travelling in turned turtle at KM155 of Jalan Kuantan-Seremban this afternoon.

In the 3.15pm incident, the victim, Muhammad Rosidi Talim Adi Kusumah, 25, was driving the Toyota Hilux when he suddenly lost control of the vehicle, causing it to skid and crashed before turning turtle.

Rosidi was killed on the spot while his friend Muhamad Samsudin Abdul Razak, 27, sustained minor injuries.

District police chief Deputy Superintendent Azli Mohd Noor said the pick-up truck was heading to Seremban when the accident occurred.

He said Rosidi's remains has been sent to Muadzam Shah Hospital for post mortem.

Samsudin also received treatment at the same hospital.

Azli added that the incident was being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
