KUALA LUMPUR: The four-day AirAsia-BAM Junior League National Finals, which starts on Thursday, will gather the best up-and-coming shuttlers at Juara Stadium in Bukit Kiara.

Each state will have a team in the boys’ and girls’ competitions. The state-level competitions were held between October and December last year to pick the best teams for the national finals.

A total of 372 teams and 2,930 were involved in the competitions.

BA of Malaysia (BAM) president Datuk Seri Norza Zakaria said: "We have achieved an incredible level of participation from young players and schools in the

country.”

“We hope to produce future world class players. The tournament is an efficient support system to develop players with talent,” he said.
